Hello guys!
I have a ATV-EXS 5 drumkit. And I have been getting alot of doubletriggering issues with the bassdrum. It doesnt help when I change the sensitivity. I use a doublepedal.
Anyone know if this is a common issue with this drumkit?
Try increasing the Threshold so that low velocity hits like the second involuntary rebound hit are ignored by the module. However, I recommend attaching a bass drum patch like the ones from Drum-tec
here (or any other like Evans etc.). This will also serve to save your mesh head from wearing-out. I think you will see improvement immediately. If you don't, you have to see other options like different beater head and of-course technique like not burrying the bass drum beater.

Changing the tension of the bass-drum head might resolve it also. If it is not tight enough it double triggers easier...
